Sundance 2018 Highlights!!!!- Dreams do come True

I have been to Sundance 4 times!!! This was definitely my favorite. It was my first time to get to go because I had a film screening there and was quite a surreal experience. I kept pinching myself. I was involved with a beautiful film called BLAZE starring Ben Dickey and Alia Shawkat. It is about a singer-songwriter Blaze Foley who died before his time. His wife Sybil wrote a book about BLAZE and Ethan found the book and together they wrote a screenplay. The film was made in the Jackson, Clinton area- near St. Francisville Louisiana. It screened at Sundance and actor Ben Dicky who plays Blaze Foley in the film played on stage at the Louisiana International Film festival party. He also won the "Best Breakout Performance Award at Sundance ". Below are some pics that represent my experience on the red carpet of BLAZE and the LIFF party. So greatful to be involved with both. The Louisiana Film commission gave Ethan Hawke an award on stage. I loved that his acceptance speech starte with, "Well God loves Louisisana thats for sure."
